WYOMING FIRST LADY'S INITIATIVE TO

REDUCE CHILDHOOD DRINKING

Governor and First Lady host reception for WFLI Team Leaders

Volunteers from across the state who are working on the Wyoming First Lady’s Initiative to Reduce Underage Drinking met recently in Cheyenne to share their success stories.  Following the day long training the Governor and First Lady hosted a reception for those attending at the Governor’s Residence.

The WFLI is a volunteer effort that has grown from a small group of people who gathered together in Cheyenne last December to kick off the media portion of the campaign to now number in the hundreds with representatives from across the state. Every county has a designated WFLI Team Leader who serves as the contact person for information and resources including banners, posters, magnets and brochures with information regarding the public health problems associated with childhood drinking.
